Our pastor is a man of unwavering faith and deep honesty, known for his profound reverence for God's work and his constant willingness to serve others. From the beginning of his ministry, he has shown genuine compassion for people, regardless of their background or situation. With a generous heart, he is always ready to sacrifice his own comfort to help those in need, often going as far as to ensure others are taken care of before himself.
Despite any personal challenges, he never hesitates in his mission to bless others. His focus is always on God's work, serving with a spirit of unconditional love. His dedication to the church is unwavering, and it doesn't matter if he is required to be at the temple every day—he is there, filled with the same enthusiasm and passion for the Lord. His commitment goes beyond the typical schedule, as he continues to prioritize the service of God's kingdom, even while maintaining a career outside of the church.
What stands out most is his resilience and determination. Although his advanced age might be a reason to slow down, he never gives up. Whether he is healthy or unwell, he continues to praise God and seek His presence. No situation is an excuse for him to stop fulfilling his pastoral calling. His life is a reflection of sacrifice and total surrender to God's will, making him a figure worthy of admiration in the Lord's work.
This pastor is a living example of what it means to be a true servant of God. His commitment to both his congregation and the greater mission of God's kingdom is an inspiration to all who know him. Through his life, he demonstrates that service to God and others knows no limits or excuses.
Hi, I'm Manuel, but most people know me as Manny. I've been walking with Christ for about 15 years, and my journey of faith began at Iglesia Cristiana Jesucristo Es La Respuesta (JCR Tacoma). When I first stepped into the church, I knew little about the gospel, but over time, my love for God and His Word grew deeper. Since those early days, I've had the privilege of serving in various ministries, and for over a decade, I’ve been a member of the worship team, which has helped me experience the joy of praising the Lord alongside my church family.
Today, I lead the JCR Ministries Mission Team, working under our church’s organization and reporting directly to our Senior Pastor, Noel Deciderio. Missions have always been close to my heart. I believe God has placed a special calling on my life to not only preach the message of Christ but also to serve those in need, offering both spiritual and practical support. When I see communities facing hardship, yet remaining faithful, it fills me with a deep sense of purpose and joy to be able to bring help and hope in the name of Jesus.
Being part of the pastoral family has given me a unique insight into the realities that many pastors face. I’m married to Gisselt, who is the pastor’s daughter, and together we have a beautiful 5-year-old daughter. Through my own experiences and those of my family, I’ve witnessed the deep struggles that often come with pastoral ministry. Many pastors serve tirelessly, pouring their hearts into their congregations, yet receive little to no financial support. There are times when these pastors, along with their families, face serious hardships, lacking even the basic necessities like food or essential items. These struggles are real, and they can take a toll not just on the pastor but on their entire household.
This is why one of my main goals is to make a difference in the lives of pastors who are faithfully serving, often without any form of compensation due to the financial situations of their churches. With the help of God and the support of generous believers, I want to work toward providing financial assistance, so that pastors can focus on their calling without the constant burden of worrying about how they will feed their families or meet their basic needs. I believe that as a church body, we can come together to support those who are in need and create a culture where we honor and care for the pastors who dedicate their lives to the Kingdom of God.
Through our mission work, I hope to not only spread the gospel to new places but also create a network of support for pastors and churches around the world. I understand that this is a challenging ministry, but I am confident in the Lord’s provision and guidance. My faith tells me that as we remain faithful to the mission, God will open doors and provide the resources needed to continue blessing churches, especially those in the most difficult circumstances.
It is an honor and a privilege to serve in this capacity, and I am deeply grateful for the support we receive from our church community and from others who partner with us in this mission. Together, we can bring hope, support our pastors, and further the work of the Kingdom, all for the glory of God.
God has been more than good to me. Since I accepted Christ as my Lord and Savior, He has transformed my life in countless ways. He used my wife and her family to introduce me to His love, and I stand here as a living testimony to His faithfulness, mercy, love, and care. I am profoundly grateful to God for the opportunity to know Him.
My purpose is to share the good news of salvation with others, contribute to my church, help those in need, remain active in the church community, and continue learning more about the Word of God until the return of our Lord Jesus Christ. As 1 Corinthians 1:9 reminds us, "God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord."
May God bless you.

My name is Diana Cabrero, I’m 30 years old, and I’m Cuban. Seven months ago, I started attending JCR Church in Tacoma, and I feel incredibly blessed because it was there that I truly experienced the love of God.
I’ve always had a deep passion for helping others. In my heart, I feel the need to address the needs of people, whether I know them or not, in any way I can — even if it means giving up the little that I have. It fills me with joy to know that I can help lighten someone’s burden.
I thank the Lord for allowing me to be a part of this ministry, something I prayed for over a long time, and now He has answered. Today, I believe in the Lord, in the love I feel for others, and in this ministry with all my heart.
Brothers and sisters, let us love our neighbor as ourselves. ❤️
My name is Mario Ventura, I’m Guatemalan, and I’ve been living in Tacoma for the past 5 years. I’ve been serving the Lord since 2011, and for the last three years, I’ve been attending Jesucristo Es La Respuesta Church here in Tacoma. God has placed a desire in our hearts to help those in greater need.
Please help us to help others. God bless you, and thank you.
Hi, my name is Reyna.
I have been a Christian since 2010 and was part of EBS (Iglesia Cristiana El Buen Samaritano) in Princeton, Florida. We moved to Washington State in December 2019, right when COVID-19 hit and churches began to close. I started serving at “Iglesia Jesucristo es la Respuesta” in April 2021.
The two great commandments given by our Lord Jesus Christ—“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul… You shall love your neighbor as yourself”—profoundly inspire me to consider the needs of others. This is why I am actively involved in this ministry; I truly believe that every penny counts in making a difference.
Hello/hola! My name is Mili Marks. I immigrated from Peru to this beautiful country, USA, nineteen years ago. I came on vacation to Michigan planning to return in four weeks, but God had other plans for me. Three months later I was invited to Tacoma to support a Spanish Ministry.
As an naturalized citizen, I could say that it is a challenge to immigrate to a new country where the systems (medical, justice, finance) are so different from our native countries. Ten years ago, I had to learn to navigate in the medical system when I was diagnosed with endometrial cancer (the silent cancer) in the third stage. Today, I am a survivor and with good health, only and solely by the grace of God. To HIM I give all the glory.
I had the opportunity to lead a group for Latinos battling cancer. What a great experience of helping and supporting people, sometimes in their last days. Due to different reasons, during Covid, I had to close the group.
Since that time, I have been praying for another opportunity to serve and support my neighbors. Here, at Jesucristo es la Respuesta Missions Ministry have found the opportunity. I am so excited for all the great things this Ministry will do. Most importantly, I am excited to reach people in need, people who are hungry, people with many needs. However, before being able to pay attention to my words as I share the gospel, they will need to be fed. Then they will be able to listen and believe! I hope you will support us in your prayers and gifts. Every little contribution helps. We are better together with God.
I have lived all over the United States from Alaska (home state) to Oklahoma, New Jersey, Illinois, California, and now, Washington. I became a Christian in 1976 in the middle of the ‘Jesus Revolution’ (see the movie). I have served in various ministries including worship, teaching, small groups, and speaking.
There is a universal need for Christians to ‘draw closer to God’ (James 4:8), to do His will, and to serve His people (1 Peter 4:10), in these days. The world is falling into secularism, materialism, naturalism, and a myriad of other ‘-ism’ beliefs and ‘religions.’ They are turning their backs on God and falling away from the Body of Christ. The need
for missions, to bring help, hope, healing, and God’s Word, to the world had never been greater.
It is a blessing to be serving with such a great team, dedicated to reach others whose circumstances are dire, but who also need to hear the Gospel. If you cannot join us, please help with your prayers and support.
